Apple has made available to developers iOS 4.2 the third beta version of its next mobile operating system.
IOS 4.2.This is for iPhone / iPod & iPad, we talked about in these notes for the new principal. In terms of changes from the previous beta, there are currently new settings at the level of restrictions (friends GameCenter management), new wallpapers for the iPad and new ringtones for SMS.
However, one of 4.2’s most exciting features has been removed from the latest beta. MacStories was first to notice that Apple removed AirPlay support in the native YouTube app on iOS 4.2 Beta 3. There’s been no word on the extent of AirPlay’s removal or the reasons why Apple did it.
