iOS 6 beta 1 Firmware Direct Download Links

The first developer beta of iOS 6 is now available to download for anyone registered with Apple’s Developer program. Arriving as beta build 10A5316k, it represents the first time developers outside of Apple will have a look at the new iOS version, which includes over 200 new features. A few of the most anticipated components of iOS 6 are the new Maps app with turn-by-turn directions, Siri for iPad 3, and FaceTime over 3G.
iOS 6 beta 1 is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch 4th gen, iPad 2, and iPad 3. There is a separate version available for Apple TV 2 and Apple TV 3 as well. Installing any of the beta builds requires iTunes 10.6.3, and Xcode 4.5 developer preview is also available for developers to download.

H8sn0w developer of Sn0wbreeze another popular jailbreaking tool has just released Sn0wbreeze 2.9, which now incorporates pod2g's untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.Sn0wbreeze is considered the unofficial PwnageTool for Windows. It allows users to create custom iOS 5.0.1 firmware file that is pre-jailbroken, which can be used to upgrade their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to iOS 5.0.1.Until now, Sn0wbreeze only supported a tethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1. Redsn0w 0.9.6rc7 was released couple of days ago with ‘one-click’ tethered boot option to ease the process for those having a tethered jailbreak until the untethered redsn0w 0.9.7 jailbreak is finalized. Redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 offers a few bug fixes from rc7, most significantly that custom tethered boot logo commands will now report if and why an invalid PNG file is attempted.

Apple has just released the very final version of iOS 4.2.1 for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPad and iPod touches. This version of iOS brings a number of new features for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users including: Multitasking, Folders and Game Center for iPad, AirPrint, AirPlay, and other system wide changes and improvements.
If you want to keep your jailbreak and unlock, you better not update to this latest firmware now until and unless official new jailbreak and unlock tools are available for download.
To update to iOS 4.2.1, all you need to do is to connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with your computer via USB and start iTunes 10.1. You should now see a message as shown below. Simply click on “Download and Install” button to get on to the new firmware.
